Realiable Websites?

When peolpe want to research a topic, hundreds of pages come up. You may think that a page you look at and get information from is realiable, but sometimes it's really not. Any one can post information on the the internet but not all is correct. That's why we shpould use  more than one reference. We can use books, articles and newspapers. Some reliable wbsites for poeple who like business is yahoo finance, at http://www.yahoo.com/. There is also google, anybody can research anything on google. the findingss that come up may not be the best ones but they sometimes do give right information.
Maybe the worst website anyone can use is wikipedia. The info. on there may seem rite but sometimes it's not and that just gives oyu the wrong idea on things. Thats's why we also have to see who wrote it.Usually at the end of page, it shows a certaim name it can be a reporter's name or a compampany that's when people know they can realy on that website.

When Should You Apply for Social Security?

The article is talkimg about when it's the perfect timing to apply for social security benefits. To get your social security benefits you have toat least be 62 but if you wait untill your 67 you get 63% more of your socail and if you wait untill your 70 you twice as much as you would get if your 67. But if you have a spouse you should make estimates in how much money you're going to need or if you guys are going to get your benefits at different ages. And you have to be smart about that, becasue you don't want to make mistakes on your money. The article also states that people that are widows can recieve thier deceased spouse's benefits but that if the deceased person has less than you do, it doesn't help. There is also a possibilty that if you receive benefits and work that the money you make might be taxed but only if your not at the age of retirement. If you pass your retirement age and ask for benefits later they will give 100% of benefits, and if your still working after retirement they don't reduce anything.

I think that what they do with social security benefits is good because if you have a spouse, you can ask for your benenfits at diferent ages. But i also like how they give the benefits when they know the person needs that money like when someone is a widow they might not give them anything but they give them something and that's better then nothing.
